We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website is designed to be privacy-friendly: it uses no tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking of any kind. This policy explains which data are processed, for what purpose, and on what legal basis.

Processing is carried out in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical information that your browser transmits (so-called server log files). This may include:

IP address · browser type and version · operating system · referrer URL · host name of the accessing computer · date and time of the request.

These data are processed exclusively for the purpose of ensuring a secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure provision of our website). The data are not merged with other data sources and are deleted after a short storage period.

4. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set any cookies.

We use the browser’s localStorage to remember a single preference: whether you selected light or dark appearance via the toggle in the header. This entry is stored locally in your browser, is not transmitted to any server, and contains only the value light or dark. It is strictly necessary to honour your display preference and is therefore exempt from consent pursuant to § 25 (2) no. 2 TTDSG.

You can clear this entry at any time in your browser settings.

5. Contact form

You can contact us via the contact form on the start page. When you submit the form, the following data are transmitted: name, email address, your message, and the technical metadata required for delivery (time of transmission, IP address). We process these data solely to respond to your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract at your request) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying to enquiries). The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

For the technical delivery of form submissions we use the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4903, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by standard contractual clauses. Formspree’s own privacy information is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this site (Inter and JetBrains Mono) are hosted directly on our server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service is established when you load the page.

7. Analytics, tracking, advertising

We do not use any web analytics tools, tracking services or advertising networks. There is no profiling, no cross-site tracking and no embedded third-party content that would transmit your data to third parties.
